The Curse of the Mes

With my MobileMe email still down I can’t help but be amused by those who are comparing MobileMe to WinMe. Windows Millennium Edition was the biggest software mistake ever. Microsoft should have never released it. (Some think Vista has claimed the title but I’ve always liked Vista so I’ll have to disagree).

Now a new Me has joined The Me Club. MobileMe, the badly named, horribly performing package from Apple.

    we would do well to look away from big names for solutions which do the same, that is, synch information across devices.

    one great option is http://iphone.hyperoffice.com. it lets you synch personal mail, contacts, tasks, calendars across your mac, iphone and pc and also SHARE this info with others (mobileme doesnt allow this). whats more their latest enhancement allows you to view and share documents from the iPhone (a unique feature)

    Glad to see I’m not the only one who actually likes Vista :)
    Windows 7 is just Vista with a trimmed down shell. And people are flocking to it. It’s all about marketing…
